Adjustable Orthotics are important because they continue to

improve the alignment of the foot, ankles, knees and spine.

Many people wear orthotics made of firm or rigid materials

which are generally not possible to adjust.



At Custom Foot Australia, we customise orthotic devices using semi flexible cork, leather & various types of rubbers which are strong enough to support a person’s body weight ranging from that of a young child to an excess of 150 kilogram’s.

           

     



This treatment of children’s foot problems assists the alignment of growth issues.
Overtime a child’s foot can be corrected to strengthen and balance the foot so it can support a structured posture. This simple cost effective method is and can only be achieved by using the materials which are unique to the way our devices are constructed.
As children’s feet grow, the length of the bones in the arch also grows from the heel bone to the ball of the foot. It is extremely costly over the years using un-adjustable orthotics to rectify a problem. A child needs new orthotic devices approximately every 6 months.
At Custom Foot Australia we have developed a simple method of extending the arch height plus extending the length of the orthotics. As well we use various densities of the materials by bringing forward the arch adjustment towards the ball of the foot.


This technique will save thousands of dollars over the years.

Rigid orthotics will need to be fully replaced usually annually as
rigid orthotics cannot be adjusted or extended.

His Custom Made Orthotics are from flexible cork, leather and latex materials, unlike standard manufactured products.

Stewart has footwear available that incorporate all the critical features that a shoe must offer for people with special needs including shoes that can accommodate orthotics or people that want to end the day with comfortable and happy feet.
